BARGAIN AT ASDA!

So we went on our family routine shopping trip a few weeks ago and I was amazed at some of Asda's new stock.

In the toy section they are selling products made by the Desi Doll company. I was pleased to see such items stocked in such a large store! Desi Doll Specialise in Arabic and Islamic toys.

They had one speaking doll left, some board puzzles and Arabic letter play-dough/cookie cutters.

For those who don't know, a doll alone is £25 in nearly every shop selling it. Which for me is personally a bit much. Unless it was a gift. A once a year gift

I was contemplating for ages like I do on whether to get something until the £15 price tag was defeated by my pride.

£15????!!!!!!

The puzzle looked interesting. A flat rectangular wooden board with pull out Arabic alphabet letters crafted into it.

The letters are brightly coloured and bold and the slots and puzzle pieces are shaped around the letter not just printed on.

When each letter of the alphabet is slotted into its matching home, the board says the name of the letter/sound aloud!!!!

This is great for children, focusing on hand co ordination, concentration, matching, listening and memory skills.
A fun activity also helping with pronunciation whilst learning a beautiful new language.

As lovely as it was I walked away.
Down the escalator.
Peering at isles.
And what did I see??????

In the clearance trolley were a few of the puzzles!!!!
Nothing wrong with them. No pieces missing, box still together.

My eyes scanned the yellow 'Whoops!' Barcode with hope.

Yes!!!!! HALF PRICE! £7.50!

You know me.
I HAD TO GET IT.
I couldn't just leave it there with all the pencil cases (one of which I also bought lol) and junk.

So in the trolley it went.

Total saved: £7.50
